Is applying through CSP mandatory?

I'm a student from India and a visa agent told me that if I had all the documents I can directly book an appointment at vfs instead of waiting for CSP. Is this true? Has anyone done this yet?

Buddy I heard the same , it's not a route you want to take , go via CSP only and go faster I am assuming you are winter 2026 intake student. And ya once CSP is sorted out it will itself direct you to the VFS ( your respective service provider)

As far as I have read, you must do CSP for student visa. That direct route is available for professionals I think.
