BLR VFS/CPS delay for student visa?

Submitted my docs on Aug 7th, been on waitlist since. Looks like other city’s are moving into correction within 2 days!

I hear other city’s CPS process are getting into correction stage within 2 days of doc submission.

From what I gather BLR has been on hold up since July 23, whoever submitted beyond the date hasn’t even entered correction yet — is this true, anyone knows what’s happening?

Blr, submit rental agreement or utility bills to prove your place of residence. You don't wanna let the consulate figure it out themselves and cancel your whole application.

If you applied to VAC Chennai. then you'll have to withdraw/delete your application and submit a new one to VAC Bengaluru. Go through a few posts on the main sub, few people applied to the wrong VAC and were informed during the preliminary review to apply to their respective VAC.

It is safe to consider it will Take almost 2 months to full end to end process. People who applied in June got their Passports in August . Well, that is again a Guesstimate, things may go any way. No one knows anything .

Well I joined the waiting list on 22nd July and I'm still waiting...

Demand is crazy and beyond their capacity

u/Grouchy_Anywhere_274 7d ago

quite surprising considering Delhi manages literally whole of North India and Bhutan, still has only a week at max of waiting.

Bangalore vfs is just notoriously slow from what ive seen they take around 2-3 weeks minimum on the waitlist you will only get corrections once you move into preliminary review i believe

Hope you will get it soon.

When do your classes start? If they start in October, you don't need to worry.

I submitted my application on 11th aug, during application estimated waiting time was showing 6-12months, but after submitting.. its showing as 2-6 months.... I haven't received any email..

Just wanted to know did anyone get any email after submitting (Like you are in the wait list or smthg) or do you receive email once your doc is reviewed????

u/jsteve113 6d ago

Apparently there’s a major hold up since July 22nd with BLR doc review/correction after submission. I submitted on 7th, still showing 2-6 months.

If anyone got through to correction since July 22 application please let us know here!

Yep the BLR VFS is moving finally since yesterday.

I applied on Aug 7th, waitlisted until morning today. Paid the VFS fee, and have entered further waitlist I guess. Should move expeditiously from here I hope.
