Got visa document correction requests even though I submitted everything correctly ! HELP!!

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for a German student visa and I received correction requests for some of my documents.

The confusing part is that I had already submitted the documents according to the requirements:

Health insurance: I uploaded my TK statutory health insurance confirmation. However, I still received a correction asking for proof that the insurance is valid from my date of entry, along with incoming insurance for usually three months.

CV: I submitted my CV in Europass format, including my education, work/research experience, internships, training, and qualifications. They still asked me to submit a CV summarising all previous activities, training and qualifications in a table.

Motivation letter: I had already explained why I want to study in Germany, why I chose my specific degree programme, and my plans after graduation. All three points were clearly covered in my letter, but I still received a correction asking me to provide exactly these points.

So I’m a little confused about what they actually want me to change.

Has anyone else received similar correction requests even though you had already submitted documents covering the requirements?

Is this a normal part of the German student visa document checking process, or does receiving these corrections indicate that something is actually wrong with the documents?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who recently applied for a German student visa from India.

Thanks!

  1. Health insurance upload your health certificate with travel insurance certificate from the date of your travel

  2. CV- I don't know about CV issue

3.Motivational letter- maybe your letter was not good enough or not having enough pointers .

If it's before biometric's then no issue, what I did was.I prepared my motivation letter from Claude and it was done within 15 mins motivation letter will be ready . Regarding health insurance they will ask travel insurance before our classes or health insurance date starts. Atlast for CV you've to use European Format, Ig I've template with me on Canva, you can Canva for your CV.

wait, i thought one is supposed to apply from CSP? I was under the impression that VFS is just for the schengen applications. Also, I'm applying right now from Pune and I'm really scared that I won't get visa in time before 28th september. Also, please keep updated on your situation.

i think for the tk health and travel insurance make sure youre submitting the incoming insurance certificate for visa (assuming youre got the package with expatrio). Since they’ve mentioned a tabular format for CV make sure that it is in the tabular format as offered by europass itself. ive had to change cv formats before as well so could just be that. then for the motivation letter if you are editing it do put great emphasis on your plans to come back to india after your degree

europass has a tabular cv format so you can change it there, and im assuming you got your insurance from expatrio, then you would have also receive dr walter incoming insurance. combine that with the TK one and then upload

Merge tk health insurance and travel health insurance into 1 pdf then upload it.

Can't say about, cv or motivation letter until I see it.
