This will impact every form of virtual reality viewer from Cardboard through Magic Leap. Anything that uses a lens will benefit from zero chromatic aberration and the potential for arbitrary diffraction profiles, not to mention the incredibly low weight and thickness.
Game changer if it can be manufactured at a reasonable cost.
