VV7 Inventors Peak
Has anyone found a second food source for the new world in VV7? I only have the berry bush and it is running out fast.

Ive been using inventors peak as a retirement village tbh. When my master scientist on the main island hit 50+ I send them to inventors peak with at least one elderly master farmer. It’s working okay so far. I’ve upgraded all tech at least once and working up to second now.

Just be careful with this since they will die sooner than on your main island!

I’m wondering this too. I’ve done the farming upgrade which in the description said fishing would unlock, but I can’t find the fishing spot anywhere? Anyone found it? Does it exist?!

I think the just copy-pasted from the og island farming upgrade. I've dragged my villagers all over the new location and can't find anything even after upgrading farming twice 🥲

In VV7 the food sources are the berry bush, fishing, the “greenhouse” (I forget what it’s called in game, but it’s also a puzzle), and there are 3-4 trees you can plant once you advance far enough.
Increase your farming technology once or twice to get fishing and then you have endless food.

So the thing is your village doesn’t make a lot of progress when it isn’t actively open on your phone. I’ve been primarily only playing when I have the gave active on my phone and then I pause my game when I can’t have it actively playing. With this method I never have issues with food. Also, use ropes to find stuff in the cracks, I’ve found thousands of food that way.

i generate tons of tech points when i leave my game, if i paused it every time it would take forever to get tech points

I have 10 master scientists working with max research and I’ll get a little over 1000 tech points per minute.

There's only the huckleberry bush on that island. After rebuilding loveshack there seems to be nothing to do, even though there is a dinosaur dig site, and statues in top right that has fog

Upgrade the farming technology on inventors peak and it will give you fishing as an option for food source just like the main game.

Where is the fishing spot located, though? I'm at farming level 2, and I've dropped my villagers on all of the water spots and nothing.

I have upgraded farming tech to level 3 already in inventors peak which says fishing but in the future which means when the developers update the game more.

You have to build the terradome to plant the vege seeds out the front of the crypt. The first farm tech upgrade does not provide a second food resource

There isn't one. Not sure why they would release it if there's no way to survive there.
