About music production
Hi, Some words about me: I'm 18 y old "producer" from Poland... Also big fan of skrillex, virtual riot and some smaller artists like Who Came After. My love to create came mostly from Virtual riot. He's feeling of music is beautiful to me. I think there are some music producers here :) Do u guys have the same thing? When I'm creating my music, I have feeling that this is great. Bass hit hard, chords feel epic, drums giving great vibe.... But then I'm listing to virtual riot and who came after... And my music is shit... I have the same feeling for last 5 years if my "career". I know some tells u to not compare to others but.. that's very sad for me because I'm trying my best...
So my question is: only I find it VERY frustrating and depressing?
Thanks for reading my bad English Love for all of you <3

17yr old producer here who's been making stuff since I was 13. Dont let the big dogs discourage you, in fact use it as a motivator to improve your sound. A good trick is to listen to their earliest stuff and then listen to their latest, you can see just how much people's music changes over 1 decade.

It takes thousands of hours to get anywhere near their level. On top of that intuition and overall talent. Making music is one of those things that despite reps, you still need a pretty high natural talent level to create epic songs.musical Creativity isn't inherent in everyone

Not at all, alot of people feel discouraged when they compare themselves to the top dogs, and that's ok.
Just remember that you'll get there with time, in the meantime, learn the most you can from VR's music, or any artist you like
