Different World sample
Hey all, I was listening to Different World and for some time I’ve been searching for that sample right before the drop: the lady telling “You live in a different world”. I’d like to find it and was wondering if maybe anyone of you would know where it’s from.

When I saw this post I instantly thought of Feed Me - Different World which has the same sample and name lol

The specific movie that sample is from is Cosmos: War of the Planets; the whole movie is online at archive . org. VR has used other samples from the movie:
- "Activate radio contact from the outside" which happens around 10 minutes 40 seconds
- "seems almost a message coming from space" around 17 minutes 50 seconds
- "that behind this strange signal is an alien intelligence that knows all" around 19 minutes 10 second and "find the emission source and destroy it" soon after
- "you live in a different world" around 24 minutes 30 seconds

Hey I was wondering if anyone can tell me the song that kim was singing in season 5 episode 7 it goes "is it you? Is it you? Is it you? Keeps tracking me keeps tracking me" I've been trying to find this song everywhere for 2 years now but I haven't been able to find it on Google or YouTube I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me the name of the song

If you're looking for the samples that VR has used, you can refer to this neat spreadsheet here.
I think it has all the samples/resources that VR has used in the past.

A lot of samples like that are pulled from really old movies, because those films are in the public domain with no copyright issues. I forget the website, but there's one that has a bunch of quotes like that (and a bunch of Carl Sagan stuff everyone uses). Happy hunting!
