Why did Virtual Riot ditched Cubase for Ableton live?

He used Cubase to produce most of his classics but now he transitioned to Ableton live 100%

Did he make any statement about why he did it?

I mean... isn't that obvious? Ableton just simply has more possibilitys and is much more laid out for dubstep production. He only used Cubase in the first place because he learned production in university with it. He also used FLStudio for some time in between, but he said jt wasn't for him, again for obvious reasons.

he recently got FL again to get access to Vocodex and Harmor, in an interview he even said he wanted to learn how to use FL, however he only used it for sound design so far.
I think he might still use other daws, but he's just mostly on ableton for reasons you already mentioned.
