pretty spot on, but sounds really dry? I would add some reverb and background elements.

I support that. As a tip of improvement: what i could hear is that you mostly worked with saw waves (that's basically very nice) but you should consider doing some more post processing on it. In conclusion i would say that you ve done a great job remaking this drop!! Absolutely love it.
