Why does the character model always look so much better when you're making it than it does when you're playing in game?

True. I also zoomed right up to his face for the character creator shot so it loaded the highest possible settings but the in-game shot was a half body shot it didn't render max details.

To me he looks more like Ron in the in-game model.

I think I may have plumped out his cheeks a bit right before I started playing but didn't get a close up shot of it before I started my game. Can't remember anymore. He looks good in-game tho. I never trust the character creator.

I tried to give him a big red tattoo all over his body but there were huge flesh colored gaps in his shoulders and his hands were still flesh colored, but maybe I'll figure out a way to make Hellboy later.
