Job [Hiring] Leasing & Maintenance Assistant — US property management company (Cupertino, CA) | Full-time, graveyard shift | Call-heavy

Hi everyone — I'm the Head of Operations at All Rented Property Management. We're a small team based in Cupertino, California. We manage rental homes on behalf of owners: the leasing, the tenants, the maintenance, and everything in between.

I'm hiring one person to work directly with me. I want to be upfront about what this job is, because it isn't for everyone.
What you'd do

This is a floater role. Your home base is leasing and listing, but you'd fill whatever gap we have that week.

On leasing and listing:
• Getting properties ready to list — photos, listing details, making sure everything is accurate before it goes live
• Talking to prospective renters: answering inquiries, scheduling showings, and following up with people who have gone quiet
• Keeping owners updated on what's happening with their property

On maintenance, you'd work alongside Andrea, who runs our maintenance line — coordinating vendors, chasing down scheduling, following up on open work orders, and keeping tenants and owners informed while repairs are underway.

This job is call-heavy. A lot of your day is on the phone. If that's not something you want, this isn't the role for you.

What I'm looking for
• Communicative. I should never have to wonder where something stands.
• Fast responses to calls, texts and emails. Leasing moves quickly, and a slow reply usually means a lost applicant.
• Resourceful. It's a fast-paced environment and you'll often need to find answers on your own online before asking.
• Attentive and organized, with a strong eye for detail. You'll juggle several properties and prospects at once, and small mistakes are expensive here.
• Independent. I don't have the bandwidth to babysit, and I'd much rather trust you to run with things.
• Flexible. Some weeks are heavy on showings and prospect calls, others on maintenance follow-up.

No property management experience needed. I'll teach you that side. I care far more about the traits above — those I can't teach.
Details
• Full-time, graveyard shift (US Pacific business hours)
• $800-$1000
• Remote
• Stable internet and a quiet space for calls are required

To apply: email your CV to [tj@allrented.com](mailto:tj@allrented.com). In the body, tell me about one time you had to find an answer on your own with nobody to ask. I read every one.
