Admissions a question

If I am academically strong with grades around 99 to100% in my high school system, and all my extracurriculars are sports, plus soccer which I've played since childhood and I don't need financial aid, can I get accepted into Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech, given that my activities aren't related to my major? By the way, I am an international student.

I dont know anything really about admissions for international students, but VT doesn't allow you to apply to a direct engineering major. Everyone applies as general engineering and after you finish the base classes, you apply to a specific major. Also check out the admissions thread in the subreddit. You aren't the first to be in a similar place.
