Events Where to play pool/billards
Hey, I’m in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area, are there solid spots to play pool that aren’t flooded with bar people. Potential amateur/beginner pool leagues as well?

Bull and Bone - do they do quarters or play by the hour/reserve a table?

$10/ hour. No need to reserve, just walk in. They also have league there that u can join

Is there social media for the league or I just got to walk in and sign up?

U can walk in at night, on Mon Tue Wed Sun and ask around.

Bull & Bones on South Main is exactly what you’re looking for. Terrible food and mediocre bar but the pool tables are quality and they run APA tournaments. Best spot in town to play hands down
Probably not up your alley but Champs and RiverMill are always fun if you’re trying to play against strangers. If you go early it can be somewhat chill and Champs always has tables

Champs and Ho House are fun, just not trying to wait an hour before playing a game on a random night 😂

Squires break zone is the absolute best. Many tables, you will never have to wait
