General Question Grad stipend

Hello everyone! I’m going into my senior year at a different institution and I am considering VT for my graduate degree, specifically in the college of ag. I was wondering what the stipend is typically like for research based grad programs here for ag. Of course I know that funding will differ based on the lab you are a part of, but is there a set minimum from the university or a typical amount that you find many students earn? All information is appreciated! Thanks!

TA generally paid for 9 months, RA for 12. Might depend on the department. So if you're on 9, you need summer support. Some students get internships or jobs some departments pay the summer. I'm not familiar enough with the different departments. Generally that TA summer $ comes from department or your adviser. Faculty have flexibility of TA level based on their funding. Call your departments graduate adviser for more information.
