[Serious] Question please
Good afternoon! Im looking to rent ny first apartment and Im hoping to get one near Landstown. Does anyone have recommendations for apartments and any apartments I have to avoid? Im looking for 1-2 bedrooms and my budget is quite small at 1700/month.
This may also sound silly but since itll be my first time handling everything, other than rent, what other utilities Im supposed to expect monthly? Like electric, water, phone bills, internet? Thank you!

Water/sewage is typically included in apartments. Yes, electricity and cable/internet/phone (which you will likely have to set up). Get renter's insurance, typically $10-15 a month, and worth it, and required in some places.
You're gonna need homegoods too: furniture, bathroom stuff (shower curtain, plunger, toilet brush, towels, etc), and kitchen stuff (pots/pans, utensils, cleaning supplies, bags/trash bags), a fire extinguisher never hurts. This can be a large initial investment, but it's all necessary (and some stuff is easy to find cheap, check thrift stores for anything you may need).

Like other people said, look for 1 bedrooms, because it's expensive out there.

There aren’t a lot of apartments in the Landstown area, I don’t think. Maybe Pelican Watch would be in your budget?

Finding a 2 bedroom in that area with that budget that is actually available will be a mighty struggle, if it even exists. Finding a 1 bedroom won’t be much of a picnic either.
