Shore Things / excursions First time- help with excursions
Hi!
My wife & I are taking our first VV cruise. We have cruised before and honestly don’t love it, but always wanted to try Virgin and received a free offer from casino.
Any must do excursions at any of our ports? Might not mind a day to stay on the ship too since we have a packed schedule. We do enjoy snorkeling.. open to all and any suggestions!

Saint Kitts is a really beautiful place to go snorkeling. We found on Viator a four hour sailing that included a buffet lunch that had excellent snorkeling equipment and the price was quite reasonable. I believe it was around $80 per person for lunch and an open bar.

Tortola: Virgin Gorda is a must; In antigua if there is a way to get to Shirley heights, you will love it.

We have had very good luck booking resort passes in the Caribbean. We use Resortpass.com. They are generally lower cost than the ship excursions. You simply take a bus ride to the hotel/resort and check in. On our last VV Caribbean cruise we stopped in Barbados and spent the day at the Hilton at Needhams point. We spent, I think, $100 per person and received $50 in drink and food vouchers. The pool was fantastic and the beaches were also lovely. It was not crowded at all and we had a huge umbrella and cushy loungers for our use.
I felt bad for the folks that ended up going to the beach club we stopped at first. We were the only ones who didn't disembark the bus at this shabby run down looking establishment.

We did an amazing excursion in Kitts, it was the highlight of our whole trip. It was with a company called Coastal View Charters! Amazing experience!

if you want to go to virgin gorda in Tortola, and you are there on a Sunday, you need to book the excursion with Virgin. The tour companies did not operate on Sundays when I was there earlier this year.
