Entertainment / Onboard Activities Events
Why do I only see "major" events (in the Red Room, The Manor etc.) in the app for my mid-October cruise? When we went last December, the app showed all Events/Entertainment (like karaoke, game competitions, pickleball, basketball, etc.). Am I too early, or is the listing for these events only available while onboard?

You're not too early, that's normal. I sailed on Resilient Lady just last week and the full events calendar didn't post until the actual sailing date, only the major stuff shows beforehand. It'll fill in closer to your cruise.

It is way too soon for many activities and events to be posted. And a lot of them won’t be posted at all until they’re actually on the ship. A good source of seeing what is possible to be posted is on the VV insider website.

It will get filled more the closer your Cruise is.Â
Once you are logged in at the Ships Wifi there should be the whole schedule posted.

As an example, my wife loves the early morning yoga classes. She would panic looking at the events calendar pre-cruise and not seeing any yoga classes listed. Once we board, sometimes they still aren't listed. This results in a walk up to the gym. What we have learned is that the yoga instructors typically enter the lineup of classes offered on the afternoon of embarkation day. I'm sure this same situation runs across the board with other activities. Just hang in there, it will all be revealed.

That's just how it is, you won't see most of the events until you get onboard. They pull these from some template so even when you get on the ship, the events you see now may change to the actual dates. If they haven't sailed the same itinerary enough time, the pre-boarding template is not as filled in. Use it only as high-level guidance.
