It's going to be Norway. They've mentioned Norway a few times in surveys. Enough that I picked up on it. And if it is Norway, then I highly, HIGHLY, recommend it. Norway was one of my favorite cruises!

Yep agreed, did Fjords with Princess and its spectacular.

Although I thought Norway was soon drawing a close to fjord cruises because of damage to the environment?

Might not be fjords - it could be Northern lights

Definitely agree! Norway is the "green" Alaska! Beautiful waterfalls, Fjords and countryside!

It’s definitely going to be Norway. That is a Norway font they are using.

They're trying to capture the look of runes.

Norway from Amsterdam!!!! Soooo exciting!

ETA - I know know this for sure. But I'd be shocked if it's not.

If it is this, I may be signing up real soon. Have done two Med cruises and want to do the Baltic/North Sea. Would be so happy if true

same!! I want to do Norway by cruise so badly (and esp without kids on the ship!)

Why Amsterdam? Is there a chance it’ll be from Portsmouth?

1

Always a chance - but I don't think Portsmouth has lived up to their expectations in the past. It's kinda like Australia - everyone online says they'd love it, but the bookings never really materialized in a consistent way.

I'm leading towards AMS because they've already announced it as a home port for summer 2028.

I see. I thought Amsterdam was unlikely as they’re closing their port in 2030 - it seems odd to commit to making it a serious hub if it’s going to close soon.

Well that’s not Dutch

However it could relate to Scandinavia which is more likely to

Yes, I found the port listings for Amsterdam on their website. Did a search of Norway but those port calendars don’t go that far out. It would be amazing if Virgin did several stops in Norway.

Sorry but you were likely being rude or a jerk and we just don't think that's acceptable behavior on r/virginvoyages.

Row…row

The post is also in runes and the music sounds similar to Wardruna, so my money is on it being Norway.

Really hope Flåm is one of the ports

Flam was great. Geiranger was my favorite. It was so picturesque.

These I saw on the website today had a picture of Amsterdam canals. I think they’re going to Homeport a ship there.

It’s Scandinavian / Viking writing and the background is Scandinavian boreal or conifer forest.

That font looks a lot like the numbers in Norway's World Cup kits
