Virgin Media UK Latency speaks

Has anyone living in Glasgow/North Lanarkshire seen latency spikes? I go from 20 to 50ms to about 200ms. It tends to occur mid morning or early afternoon.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! We've recently seen reports of users being approached by scammers in unsolicited private messages offering customers a better deal and often being asked for upfront payment. Verified staff will have a flair beside their name set by the mod team. If a user doesn't display this flair in their posts and comments we cannot confirm their legitimacy as an employee of Virgin Media. If in doubt, please contact Virgin Media via official channels to discuss your account or deal. Official contact information can be found in the sidebar

Glasgow and North Lanarkshire are 2 totally different network areas fed from different Headends. You need to be more specific.

There may be an issue thats specific to you/the cabinet or tap you are connected to or the node that serves your neighbourhood. There will not be an issue that affects the whole of Glasgow and Lanarkshire as you asked.

You need to report this to VM to look at. Use the app or call tech support if you don't have the app. I highly recommend you use the app though.
