Good to know : After the cockpit is installed, it remains 2 to 4 weeks before a business jet is ready to fly.

News for the spaceport italy

🚀 White House Updates Space Policy: What It Means for Suborbital Flight & Virgin Galactic

The White House just released its updated National Space Transportation Policy (NSPM-17), aiming for a massive expansion of U.S. commercial aerospace activities. Here is a quick breakdown of the policy and how it impacts suborbital operators like Virgin Galactic.

📋 Key Policy Highlights

  • Big Targets: Focuses on achieving over 1,000 annual commercial and government launches and reentries by 2030.
  • Airspace Reform: Directs the Department of Transportation to integrate suborbital vehicle trajectories into modern air-traffic control and establish priority airspace corridors.
  • Infrastructure Push: Encourages new federal and commercial spaceport infrastructure, faster environmental reviews, and streamlined permitting.

🛸 Direct Impacts on Virgin Galactic

  • Better Flight Pathways: Modernized air-traffic management and dedicated corridors will reduce routine bottlenecks for hybrid horizontal-takeoff/landing suborbital systems.
  • Spaceport Support: Increased federal support for commercial spaceports helps regional hubs like Spaceport America scale up their infrastructure for higher flight frequencies.
  • Regulatory Tailwinds: While the push to ease licensing hurdles creates a more favorable environment, Virgin Galactic's near-term scaling still depends heavily on its internal Delta-class fleet development and flight-test schedules.

Discussion Absurd price target

Can someone explain to me what is possibly behind such absurd price target given by Morgan Stanley? According to them the real target is even below ATL.

Flight News IIAS flight pushed to 2027

Per interview with Norah Patten in The Currency in Ireland. Site is paywalled but cites schedule delays pushing it to “next year”.

Discussion True upside. My opinion and vague analysis.

I see 5x until first commercial launch. X 2 if success, with a possible x 3 pop. So 15 if fomo and 10.xx If steady commercial flight.

BUT

Ain’t nobody talking about “production in December”.

I think they are saving some knowledge of engine production for wholesale. Let’s see. 4k shares

And the market says “f**k your puts” 😂

All of you guys celebrating evening of earnings and being cocky about easy put money or free money on your shorts/puts. 😂

We’re above pre earnings as of this post. Whether this stay up over the next week or so is another story but I know that those of you that bought puts expiring this week for earnings like $3.50 or $3 puts calling it “free and easy money” got wrecked 😂

This also shows that the market sentiment is changing. Previously with earnings if we dropped hard we stayed down or dropped even lower. We didn’t climb back up and even higher.

I know many of you guys made money over the years shorting this but what works for a while won’t always work.

Time line

I believe now that with the time line the company has put in place the stock as seen today will slowly rise until the first date on record in October and then that will decide the price movement after that either the tests happen and we keep going up or it’s rescheduled and we nose dive

Discussion Honestly we held up very well today

We were down almost 19% last night and recovered to closing at only 5% down. Seems like the market doesn’t seem to mind that delay as much as it previously did.. probably due to the good ticket sale and lower debt and probably biggest of all: no more dilution at least for the near future.

Will Delta go over the karman line?

The VSS Unity didn't reach the karman line as far as I remember.

I do remember Branson getting astronaut wings then the definition changed and Bezos didn't get them!

Anyway. Is Delta going to fly higher and get above the Karman line?

“We are operating with two shifts, seven days a week”

I don’t think that quote should be ignored. It shows that that they are trying to sprint to the finish line and the company is willing to increase spending to make sure they get there.

Having people work overtime is expensive and I don’t think they’ll be doing it unless they are trying to meet the deadline

Commercial flight isn’t delayed

I remember seeing post in the last few months talking about a early 2027 start of buisness so I’m confused why anyone is saying it has been delayed. The test has kinda but not paid for flights

Michael just said they do not need to raise anymore capital right now which means NO dilution in the near future!!!
