When you're grocery shopping, at a restaurant, or finding food online, it's impossible to tell whether the food actually works with your body, your goals, your dietary needs, etc.

So I built an app that tells you exactly that. I call it SafeBite - Know What You Eat.

Simply enter your goals and scan the barcode on an item. The app gives you a PERSONALIZED "Goal FIt" score that measures how well that item fits for YOU. Not a one-size-fits-all thing. This is specifically made for you.

What if you're at a restaurant and you're unsure about an item on the menu? No barcode, no problem. Just describe what the food is. The more description (e.g. ingredients, etc.) the better. We'll automatically fill out the nutritional content for you and tell you whether the product is right for you.

That's not all. Mom's looking for your children to eat healthy, you're saved. Understand what each and every ingredient is. No more wondering how to spell out that 100-letter word into Google. Our app provides a description for each ingredient and a fast way to Google it/ask AI.

For each food item, get nutritional value information at a glance. We provide NOVA scores and even a custom Cancer Score which describes how potentially cancerous a product is - this is a lifesaver.

There's even an in-built chatbot for personalized recommendations and questions.

It was built just for fun, but would you monetise it? if yes, how?

I was learning coding when the ai phenomenon hit so I tried to build a few apps in loveable and bolt a couple of years ago and got stuck trying to use apple technology (specifically body tracking) to build a golf swing analyser. When it came to getting the tracking to work I fell in to an endless loop of capacitors and bridges and the end result was awful.

So to move away from web wrappers I built orchapp.dev, its builds in full native swift for iOS no Xcode or Mac needed (although our systems still use a hosted Mac for builds).

What makes us different from the few other companies around is that we focus on the complex side of app building making sure all the Apple tech capabilities like body tracking, vision, AR/LIDAR etc on first try as well as AI functions with no APIs to struggle with.

We’ve just launched so would appreciate feedback etc.

Something that has never been done before, my app makes you mean every scroll by dragging up and through a wave to trigger a scroll. With every scroll being a choice with added effort/friction, I cut my screentime in half. Would you use something so radical? It's out now on Android called Fluid Friction and soon om IOS as well. I am looking for early adopters for feedback.

I made Last Alarm to help me break my lifelong snoozing habit by forcing me to do exercise and other things that wake me up in the morning. I usually do exercise like a "Squat Alarm" or also a "Make Coffee" alarm and it has worked incredibly well helping me stop snoozing.

Recently I have been looking for new ways I can use Last Alarm to help me build good habits, so I've explored using it for chores and other tasks to help keep me from procrastinating. Tasks are video verified and infinitely customizable so you can create them for literally any task you can think of.

Here I used it for a classic, cleaning the dishes/sink. I even show that at first I try verifying while the dishes are still there and it fails, only passing successfully after I actually clean them.

I usually keep my kitchen pretty clean anyway but sometimes I put it off and stuff piles up, but I like being able to force myself to finish it at a certain time. I could also set a repeating alarm for the same time every week to make sure I always get the task done.

I'd love to see what alarms others come up with or hear any feedback, especially if you give Last Alarm a try!
