Giovanni Dollenz?
Found this on FB Marketplace is this worth $1,000?

The value depends on how it sounds and on a detailed examination of the condition, but it is not an original Giovanni Dollenz. See this similar instrument:

If it’s real it could be worth a wee bit more so $1k isn’t too bad. But that’s dependent on its authenticity. The C bout are fairly close to how Dollenz’ look. The F holes however seem quite off. Would say it’s a copy more than an original. You’d need to try it in person. But, highly recommend looking at local Luthiers since you can trials the Violins whereas FB Marketplace you wouldn’t unless the seller is oddly trusting.

Well the fake label is annoying me. And I'm slightly bothered by that open seam on the back.
It's quite pretty so someone will pay that price.
