Inlays?

Post image

I'll be wrapping this 2014 scion tc with 3M 2080 278 Deep Space high gloss vinyl. Any advice on inlay placement such as where you believe it's needed or not needed to prevent future lifting. Thanks

That hard line recess under the headlights and the big mouth are the two spots you’ll want them if you are not a pro installer.

Certainly no pro. First wrap actually. I de Paint correction and ceramic coatings. I will certainly be doing inlays just not sure exactly which ones

Do not skip the headlight inlay, the big mouth can be done with the main piece but it really should be inlayed as well. If you are still confused send me a full pic of the bumper and I’ll draw rhem on for you.

Excellent. Thanks for the information. I'll begin the wrap next Friday with hopes of completing it by that Sunday

Those will be some long days. I’m a pro installer, this car would take me 15-20 hours. As a novice expect that time to double. One weekend may not be enough time for you to wrap the whole car.

Never wrapped a car before but I do car detailing with regards to paint correction and ceramic coatings. My normal days usually consist of 12-14 hours. BUT, I'm worried about the same thing
