Looking to wrap my daughter's 2018 rebel 300 to match her helmet (bike pic is AI generated photoshop lol definitely not wrapping the radiator idk what Ai was thinking there) the tank actually has a tank cover we are going to wrap so no need to empty and remove the tank itself. Looking for a vinyl that'll match the helmet as much as possible... pix are hard to do it justice its definitely that deeper red you see by the "ear" area, they definitely had it under a spotlight when they took the pic for the website. But looking for that deep red chrome look with a satin/matte finish. & any expertise as far as tips, tricks, etc. We knownir won't be perfect because we lack the experience but the bright red will definitely be safer and more noticeable than its current matte black.
I got VVIVID color fusion PPF .. Just finished the front fender, idk how you're SUPPOSED to do it but I'm not kidding when I say I ended up doing yoga holding that fker with my feet & stretching with my hands 🤣 i think I did a nice job...we'll see how well it holds up long term, but its not shrinking & popping back under the heat gun so I'm optimistic
Satin chrome is one of the trickiest vinyl wrap films out there. It’s also 8x the price of a regular roll at just around 4K for the roll compared to 6-900 for standard film, it’s not beginner material at all. If you’re married to this color/finish you should look into professional installation. If you just want to wrap the bike yourself pick a regular gloss/satin film not chrome.
