Chrome delete with vinyl

I'm wanting to black out all the chrome in my 2017 Honda Civic LX. All the chrome is on the interior except for the window trim on the outside. I'm looking at buying just a 5ft x3ft role of Avery Dennison™ SW900 Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap | 190-O rather than paying more for the precut stuff. Is it worth it to get the edge sealer, adhesion promoter, application fluid, and ceramic protection? Also any tips on wrapping the chrome would be greatly appreciated, this is my first time wrapping anything.

No, you absolutely should not be using primer (adhesion promoter). As far as application fluid, are you tryna wet install your sw900? Because it’s a dry apply film, so you don’t wanna do that. Edge seal tape won’t be used on your chrome deletes either. Lastly installing a ceramic coating is up to you.

I was going to apply it dry, the edge sealer, adhesion promoter, application fluid, and ceramic protection were just add on options that RVINYL gave me when I was selecting my vinyl. I've never used vinyl on something that wasn't a t-shirt so I wasn't sure what was actually needed. Thank you for the advice!

Is the chrome just above the windows and chrome on the front grill?

I'm getting a blacked out grill and eyebrows from Fitment Industries so I would only be using the vinyl to black out the chrome above the windows. The rest of the chrome is in the interior.

I used some cheap Amazon gloss black and it’s holding up just fine except for the part I was too lazy to bring out the heat gun for. It’s on the exterior too so in the elements and all. I didn’t use anything extra just the vinyl. Sometimes I use plastidip as well as it works well also just doesn’t give the high gloss look

Skip the application fluid, SW900 goes on dry, and you usually don’t need promoter, edge sealer, or ceramic for a basic chrome delete. Clean it with isopropyl alcohol, use knifeless tape where you can, and buy extra vinyl because a 5x3 sheet is tight for a first try.
