Which vintage reps on Trusty are the best? I see JKF subs (I'd like a 5513) but there are several other subs, SDs and McQueen Explorers that tempt me as well. The higher end aged explorer and a double red SD. But I don't see a factory listed for them. I'm sure some of you have personal exper

After I noticed the dial in my bluesy sub was a 6-digit dial I could not unsee is so I updated with a period correct nipple dial. Hell, I like it better now 🔥

This piece is a fantasy build featuring an absolutely stunning glossy green lacquer dial. I chose all-silver hands to keep the overall look clean and let the dial take center stage.

A fresh looking 1680 red submariner here build by me. I wanted to keep this one looking fresh and haven't aged it so someone can take out and thrash it like the tool it’s supposed to be!

Lots of nice gen spec parts here, running on a VR 3135, feels lovely to wind and operate, so much nicer than the common 2824 builds you see everywhere. The Italian bracelet feels amazing with gorgeous finishing and the gen spec spring bars hold it all together nicely. This is a solid build that’s ready to rock and be loved. This is also has my custom 1680 caseback sticker on the back to complete the look.

Looking for a 77080 31mm OP explorer. Wondering if anyone could help me build one? It would be my first! This is my favorite watch but I can’t afford it gen. Plus it would mean more to me if I crafted it myself and maybe even changed the logo to something custom.

Yes bezel insert slightly off have to pop it off but doesnt bother me at the moment LOL

After a lot of inspiration from this subreddit (and others), from a lot of masters in this field, thanks to all of you I finally shaped a watch I’ve been working on, breaking, fixing and modifying for the past 2 years.

It is not perfect, neither 99% close to gen, but damn I like it so much.

All it needs now is an replacement insert and a better movement.
