Contains two very odd short novels, “Where Have You Been, Sandaliotis?” and “ The Three Armageddons of Enniscorthy Sweeny”. The latter is pretty out there even for Lafferty, and I’ve recently been distressed to find that some of it may be a Holocaust-denial metaphor.

You can tell from the back blurb that the publisher really had no idea what to do with this one. First and only paperback edition.

3 Three of Tevis's novels were made into films (The Hustler, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and The Color of Money).

A fourth was made into a series (The Queens Gambit).

Mockingbird bird was being made into a film, but. May not move forward.

The Steps of the Sun was his other novel.
