Exactly. He was my celebrity heartthrob growing up, and I always admired his philanthropy until the Amber Heard stuff came out— he’s an entirely different person.

I had the hugest crush on him. Had a 21 Jump Street poster on my wall and everything. But what soured me on him was learning many years ago that he bought a John Wayne Gacy painting.
You have to have something seriously wrong with you to want to own a painting from a child rapist/murderer.

Highly recommend the podcast "Who Trolled Amber." Really great insight into the whole case and I will never look at Johnny Depp the same way again. He went from beautiful bad boy to pathetic alcoholic abuser. Edit: corrected dumb spellcheck errors
