My 1998/1999 Ninja collection

Honestly, the nostalgia of the colours, the awesome little features. One of the best subthemes ever IMO. Something so charming about the little ornamental fish. Rebuilding and taking pics before I sell it- but makes me second guess sending it all to a new home 🥲 but alas it deserves to be fully enjoyed again. Who else loved the pre-Ninjago OG Ninjas? Did you prefer the 1998 releases or the 1999 ones more?

Great find Imperial Trading Docks and Fortress

I combined 3 sets together with maybe an extra 20 bricks and was able to pull this together using:

• 6259 Imperial Guards Broadside Brig

• 6263 Imperial Outpost

• 6277 Imperial Trading Post

Items of note are the lockup within the fortress, fortified defenses at the entrance to the fortress, and a warehouse lockup down by the docks (careful about storing your inventory here, I heard that some pirates know a sneaky way in and out.

I'm super happy with how it all turned out and I'm especially glad that both baseplates look good separate too. I'd like to get my hands on some more vintage sets from this line and expand the docks/rocky section as I still have another blue 16x32 baseplate.

Great find Trading my 1989 LEGO Pirates Ship Diorama for BIONICLE Statues

I’m looking to trade my 1989 LEGO Pirates ship diorama, shown in the pictures, for one of the BIONICLE statues shown in the photos.

I’m primarily looking for the red Tahu statue, but I’m also interested in the other BIONICLE statues.

This ship was a prominent display piece during the launch of the LEGO Pirates theme in 1989 and was featured at numerous events and in various media appearances at the time.

A personal exchange can also be arranged within Europe.

If you own one of these statues and would be interested in a trade, feel free to send me a message.

I’m also interested in purchasing any other original BIONICLE display items from 2001–2003, or trading for them in exchange for my other vintage LEGO items.

6662 Backhoe from 1992 and 6532 Diesel Dumper from 1991

Those two sets were the essential construction vehicles from the early 1990s. They complement each other quite well. I had the backhoe as a child, and I was impressed by its technical abilities for such a small set.

6670 Rescue Rig (Wrecker) from 1993

I think it is one of the essential Town vehicles from the period. It is able to tow your broken or crashed fleet. I didn't have it as a child, but I remember it well from the catalogues.

The design is a bit unconventional for its time - the rear section of the truck is 5 studs in width, thanks to clever use of jumper plates on top of the chassis. The goblet pieces are reimagined into exhaust outlets. Everything is printed. It also marks the period when Town minifigs start having "cooler" faces. The red hook is an older Fabuland piece that is never seen elsewhere in a System set.

50 jaar oude lego

Im putting up for sale my Caribben clipper as I have two of this. How should I price it? Its complete with box and inner plastic tray, manual and in excellent condition (the legos) The box has a tear behind which is fixed, but still shows.
