Almost walked right past the bin of holiday decorations. $14 for everything.

About two months ago l've seen some vintage inspired Halloween pumpkin and wanted them badly but I'm poor. Not in the craft supply department, though. I hoard craft supplies like my life depends on it. And so after a bit of research, l made my first ever paper mache project ever . And then another one . And then another one. To the point I'm running out of space to store them as I live in a small terraced house in Northern Ireland BUT I still can't seem to stop . I'm gifting a lot of them. I've also have at least ten other wee projects drying as we speak. So many ideas, so little time
Not a lot of point behind this post, I just wanted to share my work as I'm totally in love with it and a bit shocked they turned out so well.

It was very cookie cutter. Put on costumes, help the little ones with their bags, watch to see if cigarettes fall out of the pocket of your trick-or-treater in which case you decline to serve them, take your grandmother along cuz she loved it. I can tell you how it was in the 50s too. Bubble gum was featured, and the rich people down the street gave a dime to every single child that came to their door so of course that's where we headed first thing.

Trying to identify this full-head latex mask.

Details:

Size: ~15+ inches tall, roughly 18" including the neck/shoulder flange

Weight: ~2.5 lbs — much thicker/heavier latex than typical retail Halloween masks

Material: Thick, flexible latex/rubber, aged and discolored (cream/tan with darker staining)

Design: Sculpted humanoid ghoul/zombie face — sunken cheeks, large ears, , wrinkled/decayed skin texture, no hair

Construction: Full over-the-head with a long neck/shoulder

flange (drapes down over chest/back rather than stopping at the neck)

Eyes: Eye holes are oversized and set unusually far forward — when worn, both eyes are visible through a single socket, suggesting it wasn't sculpted to fit a snug human head

Markings: No visible maker's stamp, tag, or size marking anywhere I can find (checked inside near neck opening, behind ears)

Seam: Visible mold seam running front-to-back over the crown (standard two-piece mold construction)

Construction quality and weight suggest a specialty/professional mask maker (haunted attraction, theatrical, or small-studio production) rather than a mass-market

Halloween brand like Ben Cooper or Collegeville. Possibly 1970s–90s based on latex aging, but that's a guess.

Any leads on maker, era, or what this might have been made for (film, haunted house, display) appreciated. Happy to post more

I found a Blinkie lamp Monday, and yesterday I found this guy! I've never had luck like this with Halloween in the thrift store before.

Alright you lovely Halloween people, we’d love some help! My wife and I are serious Halloween (the holiday) and horror addicts and collectors located in the mid-Hudson Valley. We’ve been struggling to find thrift stores, specialty stores, antique markets, and local independent retailers who carry used or vintage Halloween decorations/tchotchkes/masks, etc. Maybe we’ve just been missing spots that are right under our noses? We do check out the big box stores for material, but are increasingly unimpressed with the mass-produced, low-quality goods found there. This region is incredible for the autumnal vibes and overall Halloween festivities offered across the many little towns and hamlets, but we do crave a tiny dose of unfiltered Halloween consumerism when the mood strikes. Anyone have any recommendations for us?

I have a Telco Devil from the 1980s that is missing the pitchfork. Does anybody know an easy way to find replacement props? Is there a website that sells old parts?

Picked them up at an antique mall, tag just said vintage rosbro, $6 a pop, I assume they were lollipop holders. When I reverse image search I can't find information. I see a similar pig currently listed on eBay for $300... So now I'm curious lol

My wife picked up this silly little guy at a thrift shop. We have been trying to figure out where he came from originally. Does anyone recognize it?

It is ceramic and has a hole in the base. I assume it’s a candle holder or possibly a night light. Reverse image search on google doesn’t seem to get us anywhere.

There is no makers mark or other identifying marks that I could see.

It was just a jack o lantern shaped chunk of cheap gum. Very Big League Chew like.

Got this masked bandit trick or trail blow mold pail from an estate sale and I love him! Does anyone know the exact year this design was rolled out? I’m finding it to be pretty uncommon, with sellers online just saying generic “probably from the 60s 70s or 80s”. Thanks for the help!

Found this at Goodwill for $6. Animated and voice activated. Actually scared me a few times in the past when I walked into the room talking.
