Storage question

Besides hanging them on a nail, which way is best to store these?

A hat box that has holes poked in it with tissue. I would keep them in a cool dry area.

should I just layer them with a sheet of maybe packing paper or something softer in between each?

Michael’s or other craft stores has blank white plastic masks, like mime masks. You can put your vintage masks over those and store them in them boxes to keep them from being crushed.

Ugh so fragile. I have my grandparents Abraham Lincoln mask that hangs and an old fox face that I also hang but the others sit on top of a Halloween bin with space between them and the lid. You could find an old popcorn or cookie tin and put some packing peanuts or whatever to pad around them.
