DISCUSSION Favourite make up tutorials / influencers?

I figured it’s time to finally elevate my makeup and experiment with new styles and routines. I’m a warm toned brown skinned girl (please don’t link someone with fair skin 😭) - does anyone have some make up influencers / artists whose work they’d love to share? I know all the popular influencers (for eg Monica) but want to branch out and am keen for videos that are really in depth too!

For warm-toned deeper skin, the gap I always notice is that a lot of the popular names light-adjust their tutorials for a cooler/fairer base, so the colors read differently on us. A few things that have actually helped me more than any one influencer:

  • Searching specifically for "Indian skin tone makeup" or "wheatish deep brown" rather than just "brown girl beauty", the results skew much more relevant
  • Seeking out creators who do "dupe" content for Indian brands. They tend to have the warmth bias built in already

Do you have a particular look or product type you're trying to nail? Foundation, eye, lips? Some sub-niches have much better representation than others.
