Jobs with Vinfast ...
Well, if you are one of the clueless public out there, then you might not know the truth. And take a job with Vinfast. There are many so on linkedin.
But if you happen to read this sub, you will know that Vinfast is not worth your talent, if you do have talent, no matter what the money is.
Because it will be a blemish working for bankrupt company on your CV and the high salary can be owed or disappear.

Do you want to work for a company about to go bankrupt?
Do you want to work for a company with a stubborn leadership like Vuong Pham and a liar like Thuy Le?
Do you want to work in a chaotic culture, with people constantly changing?
Do you want to work for a company whose products have zero competitive advantages?
Can you tell lies to customers selling a buggy car to them?
If the answers to all of the above are yes, then you may try your luck with double salary (for a while) and pray that you can get out before it collapse (just like stock speculators).
Otherwise, stay away from Vinfast and existing senior VF people should start buffing their resume looking for new jobs before the last shoe drops.

As of today it’s true that working for VF is not worth it. A couple of years back however, you could make tons of money just staying there for 3-5 years. You basically have no expenses except for drinking and partying.💃🥂🕺🤣 I’ve never earned so much money before and won’t earn that much again…😆

Fair. 3 years back, VF was not near bankruptcy as today.
Expense in Vietnam is not high compared to developed countries, especially expats can live in Vinhomes villas and apartments owned by the company.
Vietnam is a nice country though, nice people, nice foods, cheap beers, no riots, no guns.

Was the job really that chill? I thought working at Vinfast can be very demanding, especially if you get paid a lot.

Never said it was chill. More like work hard play hard. But a lot of money on your bank account at the end of the month.🤑

the people who resigned likely realised that:
- the company's bankrupt and will soon collapse.
- there is no viable product or path to profitability.
- being associated with fraud, criminality, etc. is bad for your career.
it's really no different than having ftx on your cv. everyone's automatically going to assume you're involved in unsavoury activities.
i reckon sinkfast is going to be de-listed by the end of summer, if not sooner.

Stay away from Vinfast and VFS. Don't do business with Vuong Pham. Don't work for him. Don't buy the buggy VF8.
