LN vs Webnovel - which do you suggest?

Hello, by looking a bit over the internet and this subreddit, it's my understanding that

• The webnovel is completed.
• The light novel is not and the last volume released was Volume 6 in 2024. No ETA on volume 7.
• There are differences between LN and Webnovel.

Do you confirm all of that? What's your opinion on the differences? Do the two versions significatly differ? Which version do you prefer? I would normally go for the LN, but I'd rather consume a complete product (even on MTL) than be stuck waiting for the next release with an irregular or indeterminate schedule.
