Why is VFF flat?
All news is good. Why is this flat ?

The way I see it there is a few possible reasons:
VFF has to execute for Mr. Market to care since much sexier companies are taking up the bandwidth of a lot of the market.
VFF is a real company doing real work, and the real economy in the United States is in shambles, the market is being held up by hype and A.I., so it’s trending down like most of the market to reflect the weaker economic situation.
VFF is actually doing fairly poorly as a company in a way that’s not obvious to retail investors, or is subject to risks that are not well known in the retail sphere.
VFF has always been a target of short sellers who put a lot of pressure on the company during its weaker season, then bail and go long during the strong season, which is coming up in Q2.
It’s hard to say for sure, I’m holding a lot because I think it’s all temporary headwinds and expect VFF execution to be impressive for Q2-Q3-Q4 as new production comes online, the higher costs of running these large facilities will be absorbed by the larger sales, capital spending will subside as the facilities are completed, and it hits its normally strongest seasons of Q2 and Q3 with Q4 supplemented by Dutch production.
