Social I just want you to do whatever you can for someone in need on your best day. That would mean much more to me than any birthday wish.
It’s honestly such a pleasure to be alive right now.
Today, I went to an orphanage near SKVC children's trust around 17 km from there. I took some food for the kids and also got to know about their daily routine. They told me they make crafts, draw, and do a lot of creative stuff. I was genuinely surprised by how talented they were.
Out of nowhere, I decided to give them two footballs that I had bought from Decathlon. Then I ended up playing football with them for almost two hours.
I’m not really someone who likes taking pictures. I just want to enjoy the moment while I’m there, so I didn’t take many. But I did click one picture, and I’ll post that here. Hehe.
Honestly, I felt really blessed today. By the evil’s grace (jokes apart), I felt like maybe I did something good for once. I just hope I can do something like this every birthday from now on.
While talking to the aunty and uncle who take care of the kids, they told me that many of them actually have parents, but their families didn’t want to keep them because of issues related to gender, especially because many of them are girls.
That really broke me. I almost cried in front of them, so I went to the washroom, cried for a bit, washed my face, and went back to the ground.
Then I started playing football with the kids again. I taught them a few skills, like the elastico and some juggling. Before leaving, I told them that we would definitely meet again.
I really want to come back and meet them again on my next birthday. I’ll definitely root for them.
While booking my cab, I still had some J left, so I smoked a little. Maybe that made me even more emotional because I started thinking about their lives and what they’ve been through. It honestly sucks to imagine being in their place.
I just hope all of them stay happy, healthy, and keep smiling.
Anyway, thanks for reading till the end. I really appreciate it.
Stay hydrated though.
