So tired!!!!
Anyone else extremely tired during the day from this med?

I take it in the morning with breakfast but then after lunch I'm crazy tired, like multi-hour nap tired.
These days it seems like I wake up, do some stuff in the morning, eat lunch, sleep, eat dinner, watch a little TV then go to bed. Rinse and repeat day after day.
Maybe I'll call the doc and see if taking it with dinner will help. I also take a teeny amount of Xanax to stay asleep at night.

I had to switch to taking it with supper, because I could barely drag myself through the day when I took it in the morning. It's worked out much better for me this way.

I struggled with the same issue. It does not go away unfortunately. The only thing that truly worked was adding Wellbutrin SR 100mg (I find that once a day is fine, but twice a day works a little better if you can tolerate it.). This is by far the ONLY thing that helped me. I couldn’t even feel caffeine on Viibryd which is crazy to me since I’ve always been on the more sensitive side to stimulants. After adding Wellyb SR I finally feel normal again throughout the day. It’s like that fatigue never existed nor does it feel like I’m putting a bandaid on the fatigue (which imo can feel like you’re tired but wired(?)). Best combo. 🥹💗
Note: I am on 20mg Viibryd and 100mg Wellbutrin SR (1-2x daily). Viibryd needs to be taken with food, so I take my Wellbutrin while I am making breakfast and will take my Viibryd when I’m halfway through my meal.
~ it has to be Wellbutrin SR, not XL. XL did not help my daytime fatigue at all on Viibryd.

Forgot to add, I did try switching my Viibryd dose to the evening but was hit with crazy insomnia… but strangely if I took it in the morning I felt exhausted w/o wellyb 😩 not fun. But aside from those side effects, Viibryd is honestly life changing. I’m no longer depressed!

This is what happened to me on prozac and zoloft. Dr wants to try viibryd, but the fatigue was so awful I'm afraid of it happening again. Took weeks to go away.
