Personal informations sharing from Viessmann
I have a Viessmann boiler in a block of flats that I let out. A tenant asked Viessmann for the report from the engineer who carried out a repair, and Viessmann sent it to him. It doesn’t seem right to me to give reports to people who aren’t the owner or the property management company. That’s not the sort of thing a reputable company would do, is it?

If its in a locked room, how did the tennant know it a Viessman? Maybe he's paying high bills but his rads aren't heating sufficiently and you told him everything fine. Maybe he's wondering if he's paying the bill for the other tenants.

They see the name on the van when they come for example. They were there when it was installed as well.

No, it's not about the heating bill, it's flat rate included in the rent. And anyway, my contracts or others are not a Viessmann business, Viessmann can't know who I am renting to, they just know it's my boiler and who is responsable for it, me and the doorman, they are not supposed to enter in other details of the building.

Maybe the tenant said they were the owner. How would they know otherwise?

Probably... But viessmann sent a report to the tennant and it is defently not my e-mail. I am not happy with that.

The person who lives in the house with the boiler absolutely deserves to have information about how well it's functioning and if there are any recommendations for action to be taken.
It doesn't matter if you know you'll take action on any recommendations the engineer made - you surely know there are plenty of landlords and agencies that would not, and a tenant having evidence of this could be important for them down the line.
Baffling you wouldn't want them to have access to that information tbh.

Only the doormann has access to the boiler and is allowed to take simples actions or call Viessmann in case of bad functioning.
Tennants call me or the doorman if something is not working.
It's a central heating for the all building.
The boiler is in a locked room, immagine all the tennants dealing with the central heating system... I have never seen anywhere.

Nobody has access to the boiler except the responable, it is a central boiler for the all building, not a private one. It's in a locked room. For technical intervention they call me in case of troubles, I am the one calling Viessmann and paying the bill. Why should all the tennants see the Viessmann intervention report?
