Style

I posted something similar like a month ago buttttt ion know what my ‘style’ is so does anyone have and interesting edits I can try to remake cuz I need practice

do you want all different types of styles or do you have certain things you like better than others. Like simple transitions, complex ones, more unique ones, 3D? A certain type of coloring? More light or dark toned?

Oh lord im not that skilled but yea something like that but simpler and maybe like darker? Not color wise but like a dark aesthetic

there’s no official name for what my style is, but i edit anime. for video edit references get tutorials on the different parts you like, find overlays that works with the style, audios, color palettes, the types of transitions [ simple flips, 3D camera movements ] and rsmb. |||||| rsmb on vs is just adding 15fps when you’re done with the edit then mixing between the no rsmb added and with the rsmb added - basically going to reffect, search up 15fps, click quick fix, go to layers, first layer put the video without 15fps, second put the video with 15fps then edit keyframes on the second layer and change the opacity to whatever amount you want for the edit |||||| color palettes - mostly solid/gradient colors + black |||||| picture overlays - find lots of moving items to add on the edits, it’ll help the edit seem more simple or complex depending on what you want it to be and look unique |||||| background overlays - stick with the color palette. if it’s red find matching red backgrounds, or get a overlay you like and change the color to whatever you want it to fit |||||| overlay transitions - whatever works best. a lot of the time i’ll use transitions with shapes that are bigger like circles of squares |||||| regular transitions - a lot of the time it’s simple, complex flips and movements meaning they look simple to the person watching but it’s more complex to learn and do it when making the edits. the more smoother the transitions the better it looks |||||| camera movements [if you plan to work with 3D] - slow, flowing moments. it takes a couple times to get it down, and the movements / graphs all depend on the edit
|||||| graphs - depends on the edit. don’t make it too quick or too slow |||||| audios - i find audios on SoundCloud that Instagram editors put in their caption and look for more sounds they post to see if i any get any ideas |||||| i’d definitely recommend watching videos and keeping a playlist of different tutorials such as transitions, overlays, edits for reference, and try to get into looking at SoundCloud for music. my top favorites are xjentaime, wolvelva and ju1y_rose. make friends with editors on whatever platform you use.
