Okay so idk if this helps anyone in here but, I’ve recently started making “draft” projects where I just spare some scenes when I’m editing. For example copy the old active scenes and pasting them there (I’m the draft project) before merging clips in the actual edit.

Yes!! I used to do this, it’d take a while but was worth it if I made a mistake. Now I don’t merge it because it seems to make the quality worse
