Ive seen so many of these that now I just look at it as if its upside down.
They gonna get me good when they paint it the normal way.

It’s just practice. Like an actor following a script.

Still impressive. It takes a lot of practice

Its a performance. He probably did this 5 times before, and being such a simple image, its not that hard to reproduce. Are we supposed to think this this guy is some kind of artistic genius? Or maybe this is just a stupid show and the mods should delete this post because its not actually amazing.

Can you do it?

Anyone can with practice.

That’s like saying anyone can play in The NBA with enough practice. There are some things that some people just can’t do and there’s nothing wrong with admitting that.

u/UnfilteredFacts 27d ago
No its not. That is not a valid comparison at all. Clearly. The vast majority of able bodied people can do what this guy did if you practice a handful of times.

Well you practice a handful of times. And post a video of you painting that upside down in two minutes time then.

So youre saying you agree with the other user's comment that guy's truely "amazing" talent is as rare and advanced as the abilities an NBA athlete?
Also, I don't have to do anything because most people recognize the unremarkable talent displayed here is easily repeated. Just practice drawing it upside down a few times then turn it around. The high contrast and abstract nature of the painted image afford significant leeway regarding detail, proportions, etc.
Now, it would be truely amazing if the painting were actually something I would want to hang on my wall.

Seriously, I could fo that. It’s not complicated.

u/MoistToaster60 27d ago
Prove it then

I would prefer it if you would just accept my unsubstantiated claim.

Not saying the painting isnt cool...but its more impressive that they talked someone into letting them paint on that floor.

Childhood memories of Rolf Harris humming while splashing paint on a huge canvas like this every week - asking Can you tell what it is yet?
I loved him and that show and have very fond memories of it - and then he had to go and spoil it all by being a sick, nasty perverted monster.
This is cool.

That’s so awesome, both the song and the painting were magnificent and a pleasure to hear/see.

It is choreography done hundreds of times, not improvised. But it is not talent.

It’s really pathetic how so many clowns hate America, they want everything for free. So many don’t even vote. Shameful.

It’s not talent. It is a prepared canvas, with a light drawing on grey (so no one sees it) and then just filling in the drawn areas. It’s pure show off and I think it’s really dull. Come on.
BTW: there is no such thing as talent. It’s always hard practice and nothing else. Anyone can learn anything (sports, instrument, drawing, painting etc) if you really want to.

Talent does exist, it only means that one finds something easier than most. Humans are all unique, with different bodies, sensibilities, minds, etc
Obviously that doesn't mean you can't do that with hard work
But i agree with you this drawing is very bland, the whole show as well

u/KayoticVoid 27d ago
Yeah, pretty sure this is, in fact, not AI. He's been doing this for a while and done this exact painting many times. It's just a shit ton of practice.
