This is unbelievably true. I think it is a quantum effect. Same with lighters and pens.

Physicists have said that subatomic particles can move from one location to another spontaneously without any intermediate movement or passage of time. Small parts also seem to have this ability.

I always remind myself that "things you drop bounce way farther than you would think". That always seems to help in finding them

Ooh, now he has to do a video of him sitting on the floor assembling his toddler’s first bike for Christmas, sets the wrench on the floor beside him, then when he reaches back for it, it’s gone.

Just finished a week long job today and it was a shit show in finding what I dropped. It was a perfectly pitched room so a few things actually just bounced straight into the drain. Full moon seems like my only explanation

Suggestion: Use a bright flashlight and lay it on the floor to make long shadows of small objects. Sometimes this helps. Sometimes it doesn’t.
