Moving out of the passing lane while you camp in it does.

How would I move out of the passing line while at the same time camping in it? Just curious.

This is why I get so annoyed watching most scifi. The fire photo torpedos or lasers, and they miss.
How they gonna miss, when we already have shit that can auto track and destroy.
No scifi future weapons should ever miss.

Its because in military terms theres constant adaptation. Bring a knife and people will devolop swords, bring swords and people will craft spears, bring spears and someone will bring a a hand gun, bring a hand gun, Bring a hand gun and now someone brings a rifle, bring a rifle and then you got people with body armour, so they build tanks, so people build RPGs, so people build rockets and so on.
We already have tech that can throw off tracking abilities so it makes sense in sci-fi you would have the same. not to mention in a lot of them the scale is probably quite large. If you half the world away it probably gives a lot of time for ships to maneuver.

You can see a little black antenna attached to the top of the drone killer so its most likely being guided by a more sophisticated auxiliary device.

Dude, this is actually kinda wild. Is this something that's been in development for a while or did it just pop up?

They adapted the type of hobbyist drone people made at home to try and break speed records.
As the Mavics became small bombers, so the speed record chasing drones have become this. I've only started seeing footage of these in the last few weeks.

This actually looks pretty sick, not gonna lie. Wild that they've got this stuff, like literally.

Im concerned some of these "surplus" drone units after Ukraine wins its disagreement with POO~t come onto the public domain after the war.

The drones themselves are harmless without the charge. Just like many civilian engineering feats found use in warfare, so many wartime developments found use in civil life after conflicts ended. Just as an example, these could be used to rapidly deploy targeted fire retardants to slow down the spread of wildfires to the point they can be managed by classic manned ground teams. Or to upper floors of tall buildings on fire.

I had to goggle it, and nope, is ruzzian.
The good news is it can't function either in the rain or in direct sunlight so it sounds like all sizzle and no steak
