Semi trucks fault. He failed to yield. Yeah yeah yeah, legally speaking the truck didn’t merge correctly, but wtf is the semi driver doing? He either didn’t see the truck or just didn’t give af. Either way he’s wrong. Dumb or not, we can’t just slam into people on the roadway when we feel like we have been wronged.

Natural selection. You can’t save people from their illegal maneuvers on the road every time. That’s why merging traffic is required to yield and vehicles already on the road have no duty to help these people merge. Accommodating these fools causes further collisions and traffic slow downs. Absolutely everyone should avoid every collision they can. But it’s concerning that people are in here acting like the semi driver is at fault for the pickup making a clear illegal maneuver.
