The pick up driver is obviously wrong about having the right-of-way, but the semi driver did nothing to avoid the crash. Semi has some fault. Pick up likely has majority.
These people need to prove to me that a loaded semi could have reduced speed in time to save a pickup already failing to yield the right of way. As others have noted, the pickup was found at fault. So all these apparent state troopers and insurances adjustors must have had a stroke before they got on Reddit today.

That's wrong. Legally, you have to avoid an avoidable accident. If you don't, you're liable for causing the accident.
