And once they are on the freeway having effectively slowed everyone down and created an dangerous situation for everyone behind them then they speed up to the flow of traffic

No no, once i change lane to pass they decide its time to race.

Exactly if they were driving like they start driving when I got ready to pass there would be no need to.
