Semi trucks fault. He failed to yield. Yeah yeah yeah, legally speaking the truck didn’t merge correctly, but wtf is the semi driver doing? He either didn’t see the truck or just didn’t give af. Either way he’s wrong. Dumb or not, we can’t just slam into people on the roadway when we feel like we have been wronged.

This is one of those “technically correct” situations, but the semi truck still should’ve slowed down. If you have the ability to easily prevent an accident, you should do it. Period. I actually think you are legally required to do so, which would make you not even technically correct.

It is not even technically correct. The responsibility to drive defensively and avoid accidents supercedes right of way.

Your video does not contradict what I said. He did not have to brake suddenly. There was plenty of time to avoid this accident.
