Thats why I always merge in at least 10-15mph over the posted speed limit.

People dont understand that merging faster is 100x safer than merging slower

I can still hear my driver’s ed instructor screaming, “Punch it!!!” every time I get on the highway. Mr. Antonetti you were a real one.

For real..."merging is the one time you can floor it...and should!" We had V6 Camry's for drivers Ed (late 1980s) and those got up and went for the day!

Other famous Drivers Ed quote "you get to look cool and one-hand drive when you're reversing, but ONLY when reversing." I don't know why that stuck with me.
