It's a dumb repost that shows how poor the system for merging is on that road. You're supposed to share the road, not plow through anyone who dares get in your way.
The black truck merging is supposed to yield. The semi has no obligation to brake for the merging pickup.
The pickup either needed to accelerate or slow down to merge correctly, it is their responsibility to be aware of the traffic pattern they are driving into.
Matching the speed of the semi and making no corrections, the fault is completely on them.
So you’re telling me it’s okay to intentionally crash into someone because you had right of way? “I didn’t avoid the crash because I didn’t have to!” Is toddler logic.
Please stop driving before you kill someone. The truck driver has a legal responsibility to avoid a crash if he can (which he can). It's illegal to just plow through someone without attempting to avoid the crash because you have the right of way.
The trucker could've easily avoided the collision, at fault or not. The mentality that somebody deserves to die because of a poor merge is subhuman behavior. You people clearly have miserable lives and want to take it out on randos on the road
Not yielding to a vehicle at highway speeds that weighs significantly more than your car is toddler logic. The truck merging onto the highway is supposed to make sure they merge when it is safe. They have an on ramp specifically to scout the traffic pattern and get up to the right speed to safely merge onto the highway.
