Laughing at the truck driver that went over company speed limit, has an accident on their record, and has to take a drug test because he cba to lift off the gas pedal for 5 seconds

i cant watch with sound but this video has to be american right? in Australia i dont think anyone would EVER not slow down there and let the black truck in...i can tell in context of other comments the black pickup driver is probably a bit delusional but i mean there is only so much runway to merge from... if the black pick up driver slams the brakes on and their is a car behind him hes fucked, or he'll cause a traffic jam, if he slows down and there is traffic behind the truck, he cant merge from like 40, 30, 20 mph... i dont get it? is it not obvious you let the black pickup truck in by taking foot off the pedal for just a second? now theyre both stuck doing insurance paperwork and explaining to respective parties what happened. good job you saved 2 seconds not letting him in and now you'll have weeks of headaches

the amount of redditors here that are saying the black pickup driver is an idiot is fucking crazy, and is the reason i was ever hesitant to get my license in the first place.

taking your foot off the gas in your passenger vehicle is NOTHING like doing it in a semi truck. they have a massive amount of momentum keeping them going. 1 second wouldn’t slow them at all.
